I rewrote this whole review that I have written, and this is like a v2.0 of it. The reason being is that during my conversation with Luke Kling (the founder of affLift Forum), some of his words on the reasons why he has started it in the first place have touched my heart… and I decided to include them in my affLift Forum review.

This is how our conversation went.

Luke: Hey Ben so how do you like our forum so far?

Me: Yeah, it’s pretty good. I love the section where it contains all the follow along posts made by other members and yourself. Follow along is an excellent way for someone to learn from others on how to get started and how someone can turn a campaign profitable.

Luke: You can find a list of them all here. Also, our guides are pretty unique too, since our community leaders have put together some great content.

Me: Ya, I agree. However, there is 1 part which I don’t get it… Like why do you only charge $20/month for your forum when it has values much more significant than that? For me, it doesn’t seem like a wise business decision. You know, guys can just join it for a month and take all the content inside and leave. That’s exactly what I did when I first started in this industry, too, while I was low on capital to kick start this business.

Luke: IMO, we’re probably undercharging for $20/month. But, I want it to be affordable for everyone. Also, I do give out coupons everywhere and most members end up paying less than $20. Pricing is an odd thing, I could charge more and people may actually be more likely to want to join because they think it’s more valuable since it costs more. But the value is still there at a cheaper rate. I prefer to make sure that it’s open to everyone. I want the guy from 3rd tier country who makes $200/month to be able to participate and learn. That dude could be the next super affiliate and I don’t want him missing out or having to spend 50% of his income on a membership to a forum. Especially, when he doesn’t NEED to.

Truth to be told, when I first started in affiliate marketing, I had only $600 as my capital. So I can relate very well when he mentioned that he wants the forum to be affordable to everyone. IT DOES HELP BIG TIME because a forum is more than a place to learn, it is also a community where you can find support during your journey in affiliate marketing, especially most people started as a one-man show. For this, Luke, I salute you for what you’re doing to help the newcomers! You have earned my respect!

Now, let’s dive into the real stuff.

After spending some time in the forum, here are the few points that I want to bring out about affLift Forum that I find helpful. These can undoubtedly expedite your progress in CPA marketing and ultimately increase your ability to produce profitable campaigns with higher chances of success. No, I am not going to cover each section of it, just like any other ordinary review. Instead, I will only cover the “real stuff” that I find useful & can help to speed up your progress, because I – who has generated more than 8 figures in revenue running campaigns, is a product of such forums.

Follow Along Section

The follow-along section is a big part here. In case you are not familiar with the term “follow along”. It means that a member is going to post his campaign status on the forum just like a diary, with updates on what he has done, what he is going to do next, and the reasoning behind it.

affLift’s follow along section is extremely active!

The best part of it? Other more experienced marketers (including Luke himself) would always chimp in and offer their thoughts/direction, with their reasons why they make such decisions!

What’s a better way to tap into the brain of other successful marketers/super affiliates than this?!?!

You see, most of the time, one would get stuck on their CPA campaigns. Why is it not making money? Why is it not working? What’s worst, there isn’t a guide nor SOP that can teach you what to do next. There is no right or wrong answer. It all has to come from experience, and in affLift’s follow along sections, I see that a lot of experienced marketers and their community leaders ALWAYS reach out and offer help. By being a member, you are tapping into their brain directly and learn their thought process, which made them who they are today.

When I first started, I also did a few follow along threads in the forum I joined – guess what? Apart from being able to learn the thought process of other successful marketers, it also served as support and motivation to allow me to keep pushing/not giving up easily. You don’t have to worry about other people stealing your campaign because your profitable campaign will only last for a while, but the knowledge/experience that you’ll be gaining will last you for the rest of your life.

If you’re going to join affLift Forum, I would strongly recommend you to start posting follow along threads too because it allows you to expedite your learning, plus, you’ll be making friends with other successful marketers in no time too πŸ˜‰

Case Studies Section

The main difference between follow along thread vs. a case study thread is that, follow along usually do not mean that the campaign would turn out to be profitable in the end. Whereas for case study threads, these are mostly the successful campaigns that are/were making money, aka a profitable campaign. If you want to know how does one builds such a campaign from scratch, there is no better place than the case study section.

Example of case studies posted by their successful members & community leaders

Again, this is your chance to learn how successful CPA marketers can build profitable campaigns from scratch, in a practical way.

  • Why did they pick this offer in the first place?
  • Why this traffic source?
  • How did they come out with the angle?
  • How do they optimize the campaign?
  • How much do they spend before they stop/pause the campaign or target/domain?
  • etc…

For me, I have learned a lot from such case study threads back then as it gives me a lot of ideas and inspiration on what to launch next/do next. As the saying goes –

Good artists copy, great artists steal.

Someone from the CPA industry…

Don’t be afraid to take other people’s successful campaigns and duplicate it elsewhere – e.g., a traffic source that is not known to others, and who knows you could have an instant winner?

But I would like to add on to this –

Good artists copy, great artists steal, the best artists steal and improvise

Benjamin Yong, 2020

Do learn from other people’s success and think about how to transfer it to your own with a twist. That’s what can last you for a very, very long time (that’s also one of the main reasons why I am still surviving in this game after 10 years).

And the case study section of affLift is definitely a good place to start.

The Activeness of The Forum

No matter how good the content a forum has, if its members are no longer active, most of the content would eventually get outdated/become irrelevant. As we know, online marketing is an extremely dynamic industry, and things change every few months. If you were to join a CPA marketing forum, you want to make sure the one you enter has a lot of active members, including the founder himself. In this case, Luke is like a beast, and he checks his forum every single day just to make sure no new member is being left out unattended.

The founder himself and other community leaders are extremely active and ready to help!

Apart from that, all the threads are relevant and up-to-date. During my observation, while new members are posting questions and getting answered by the Mods, the older members are equally active as well and offer a lot of useful guides/follow along threads to keep things fresh and relevant.

As a CPA marketer, you want to make sure the campaign, traffic source, “secret methods” (if there is any), etc are relevant to these days, and you can be part of it, doing while learning.

Other stuff that affLift Forum offers include traffic source guides, landing pages, etc. etc. etc. which I don’t think I need to cover. You can check out everything affLift has to offer by going to its official website. But what I do cover here are things that I find to be imperative for anyone who is still new to this industry and is still struggling to find your first profitable campaign.

Trust me, I have been there, and I know precisely how suck it feels. This is the point where you need to find support to keep going, and when I say support, I refer to a forum that can provide you the points I mentioned above, and affLift is one of them.

Conclusion

Overall, affLift Forum in short… Worth every single penny that you pay. The value that it has far exceeds the monthly cost that it is charging. If you’re just starting in CPA marketing and is wondering if affLift Forum is the right choice, I can tell you hell yes.

And guess what? With this review, Luke is also kind enough to offer a 20% discount coupon (poor thing) – BENJAMIN. Just key this in when you sign up, and you’ll pay only $16/month. It’s a steal.

affLift also has a membership where you only have to pay $350 $280, and you’ll have lifetime access to the forum. If you can afford it, I strongly recommend you to take up this deal as it could go away anytime from now.

You don’t have to feel sorry for Luke, because this is his mission and your best token of appreciation is to be able to find your path and change your destiny through CPA marketing with the aid of affLift Forum.

Just don’t forget to hit him up and say hi the first thing you join the forum. Again, poor Luke. πŸ˜€
